A Long Weekend

Hello everyone!

As I mentioned before, I don’t have too much time to write, but I will give a quick recap of this past weekend. It was a super long one for me (my university gives us the Thursday and Friday before finals week off), so I took advantage of that!

Bright and early on Thursday morning, I went to the gastroenterologist to get an endoscopy of my esophagus done. I haven’t received the results yet, but it sounds promising – I’ve got my fingers crossed. I will keep you updated! 🙂

Thursday night I made panko-crusted tilapia.

(I’ll add the recipe soon!)

….And started this book that my grandpa got me a few Christmases ago. It’s good so far!

On Friday during the day I babysat the twin five-year-old girls that I will be watching this summer.
And watched this movie that night…

It is great – I highly recommend it! I loved seeing all of the different places in London again. The language and violence is pretty nasty, but overall, it was a very good movie.

Saturday morning I got up and did about an hour and a half of yoga…(Weekend workouts include: Friday, jogging; Saturday, yoga; Sunday, break; Monday, jogging.)

Then went shopping with Dan.

Annnnd came home to make Irish Beef Stew….

(This recipe is also coming soon! 🙂 )

Then on Saturday night, my family, Dan, and I played board games for hours. “Zero” and “Hedbands”, to be exact. It was a ton of fun!

Yesterday, I….
Played with the attentiondemanding, impatient, adorable Ella:

"Really? Another picture? Please get the camera out of my face."

Played the piano for the first time in about a month, and my violin for the first time in about a year and a half (!!!!!) :

This picture was taken after my recital my freshman year of college, but the last time I played my violin was October 2010!

Watched the Royal Wedding twice….(I watched it three times last year, too. I’m obsessed!)

And made Applesauce Muffins!

Again, recipe coming soon! 😉

I hope you all had as great a weekend as I did! Talk to you soon!
