(How do people make up creative titles? I struggle so much with it…)
Hi! Happy Wednesday! I hope your week is going well and that you’re staying warm! (Seriously, does anyone actually like winter?? 😉 )
Some fun news: if you didn’t notice, I now own my domain name! Welcome to livliveslife.com! I mainly bought it on a whim, but I’m glad I did…I like how it looks. 🙂
Well, I have a lot of work and reading to get to (that’s what I get for being an English major, history minor!), so on to WIAW!
Hosted by Jenn of Peas and Crayons.
As it turns out, I didn’t take too many pictures of my weekend eats. I’m not sure why, really, but I think it has something to do with not having a camera. It’s my goal this weekend to go and get it checked out! Hopefully it’ll be an easy fix for the shop, and not cost too much money…
Greek yogurt, raisins, and Special K. Yum yum yum.
A salmon burger with ketchup, and some mixed veggies on the side.
A tomato and mozzarella panino from Panera, with a side salad. Yumo.
My final day of a regular diet was wrapped up with homemade sloppy joes. My mom makes the best. I paired it with a giant salad.
Sooooo I made some cookies.
Some realllllly good cookies.
But I’m going to be mean and make you wait for the recipe. Sorry! Check back tomorrow!!
Workouts Feb 3-9
Sunday: Jillian Michael’s 6 Week 6 Pack
Tuesday: 20 minutes jogging + 30 minutes walking on treadmill
Wednesday: 6 Week 6 Pack
Friday: 25 minutes jogging + 30 minutes walking on treamdill
Saturday: Jillian Michael’s Yoga Meltdown
So, see those Jillian Michael’s workouts up there? Well, the other day I received an awesome package in the mail that contained three workout DVDs! I had ordered it a few weeks ago off Groupon but didn’t expect it to arrive so soon!
(Check out that price! When I bought it, it was $20 and they were comparing it to $50! Such a great deal.)
I’ve got to be honest: I think 6 Week 6 Pack is one of the most difficult workouts I’ve ever done. And that’s coming from a person who has done P90X! It kicked my butt but in a good way…as in, I’m still sore today. I’m excited to try it again, as well as the others!
In other news, on Saturday, my mom and dad, Dan, and I went out for dance lessons! For our birthdays (mine and my dad’s) my mom got us Groupons to a local dance studio. All of us are very challenged when it comes to dancing, so it really was a good idea on my mom’s part. Our instructor was very nice and broke the dances down so they were so elementary they didn’t even feel like dances! But the Groupon includes two more lessons plus a group class, which I’m looking forward to. We were taught the Box Step, Fox Trot, and one other that I can’t remember. I’m an 80 year old at heart, so I’m really looking forward to learning more swing dances!
My Pescetarian February is going pretty well so far. I really don’t miss meat at all (of course, it’s only six days in…) and I love being creative with my food. I made some amazing veggie burgers over the weekend, which I’ll share soon. I can foresee that I’ll have the hardest time when it comes to getting pizza – I love pepperoni! But anyway, so far so good. 🙂
Finally, Ella got a hair cut the other day and is suuuuuper cute. I could not stop taking pictures of her this weekend.
Just thought you’d want to know. 😉
Do you have a favorite workout DVD? Any suggestions?
Are you a good dancer, or are you challenged like me?
Other than the typical base, those cookies have seven fun ingredients in them! Can you guess what they are? 🙂
Have a wonderful Wednesday!!
