Up by 5s Workout

I just wanted to stop by and share a fun little workout I made up. It would be a great way to start your weekend off on the right foot, and it certainly is a good way to warm up!

I wanted it to have a lot of reps of each exercise, but I knew I didn’t want to do much over 40 reps of something, just because I didn’t want to risk fatigue. So, I decided to call it the “Up by 5s Workout“.

I used a 5 kilo (6.6 lbs) set of dumbbells. You could adjust the weight depending on your level, and obviously substitute any exercise with some of those that I have here, but this one is good because it gets all areas of the body at least a little bit. Repeat three times for a great workout on it’s own, or use it to accompany a half hour of cardio.

I hope you try this one out. You’ll have that fun sore muscle feeling the next day – your body’s way of saying thanks for the workout. 🙂
