Happy Friday, everyone!! It’s almost basically the weekend!
I believe I am the last person in the blogosphere to be completing the survey, but better late than never, I suppose. Plus I thought it would be something fun to do on Friday. 🙂
A- Attached or single?
Attached. His name is Dan.
B- Best friend?
Ella.
Kind of kidding. I do have human BFFs, too, and I love them all. Sarah, Amber, Briana, and Josie. 🙂
C- Cake or pie?
Definitely cake – I really don’t like pie. I’ll sometimes have a bit of apple or blueberry pie, but only if it’s homemade. Chocolate cake is my favorite, but I won’t object to any flavor, really.
D- Day of choice?
Friday. Even if it’s a work/school day, there’s still a feeling in the air, and you have the whole weekend to look forward to. 🙂
E- Essential item?
My iPhone. Yep, I’ve turned into one of those people that can’t go without their cell. I love it!
F- Favorite color?
Green. I love blue and purple, too. Hate orange.
G- Gummy bears or worms?
Worms, I’d say – but sour worms. Otherwise, I’m not going to waste my calories…I’d rather have chocolate. 🙂
H- Hometown?
A relatively tiny, nice, but close-minded town in West Michigan.
I- Indulgence?
Oh lordy, I pretty much indulge any time I have the chance. But to answer the question more completely, last night I had a piece of deep dish pizza from Little Caesars. And this morning, I’m paying for it with horrible acid reflux. Hooray.
J- January or July?
I’m pretty sure I suffer from SAD, so definitely not January. Living in Michigan, I find January and February to be the most depressing months. So definitely July. Being in the midst of summer = happiness.
Not any time soon.
L- Life isn’t complete without…?
Friends and family. As long as there is someone for me to turn to, whether it’s for help or to vent to, I’m all set.
M- Marriage date?
N/A
N- Number of siblings?
One brother. Three years younger. This picture, taken by him, pretty much sums up our relationship. 😉
O- Oranges or apples?
Definitely apples. While I like oranges, they’re messy. I love the convenience and a taste of apples more.
P- Phobias?
My biggest fear is someone I love dying or getting hurt. Other than that, I HATE spiders. Hate them.
Q- Quotes?
Oh gosh, there are so many quotes I love. It would be so difficult for me to decide on one, so instead, I’m going to settle on something one of the girls I babysit said last year. It makes me laugh so hard every time I think of it:
“Our kitty is special. She is a magical kitty: she pooped in our brother’s room and we didn’t even know it for a long time.”
I mean, that is just priceless.
R- Reasons to smile?
Health, family, friends, Ella, good food, a good job, beautiful weather…
S- Season of choice?
Definitely summer.
Winter = ew. Spring = gorgeous, but sneezy (me, not the season). Fall = my second favorite, but it unfortunately means winter is coming, so it doesn’t top the list.
T- Tag 5 People…
Like I said, I think every blogger I know has done this. If you haven’t, though, go ahead and tag yourself! 🙂
U- Unknown fact about me?
I’m addicted to Blistex. Wait, I might have said that before in another one of these surveys. Anyway, there is a certain type of Blistex that I physically need. (I’m embarrassed to admit that I actually go through withdrawals if I don’t apply it once every couple of hours. Ugh.)
V- Vegetable?
I pretty much like all veggies except brussel sprouts. I’ve only had those once, but that was enough! My favorites are peas and spinach. 🙂
W- Worst habit?
Worrying. I actually think I have anxiety problems, because about 70% of the thoughts I have each day revolve around worrying about someone or something.
X- X-rays or Ultrasounds?
Ehhh neither? I don’t find either particularly diverting!
Y- Your favorite food?
Pizza topped with pepperoni, cheese, and green peppers. If I could only have one food for the rest of my life, it would be pizza.
Z- Zodiac sign?
Libra. I’m very skeptical about those things, though. Do any of you find that what they “predict” holds true to your actual life?
———
So let’s hear from you! Pick a question (or five) and answer in the comments below!
And, as always, have a great day, and an even better weekend! 🙂
That picture taken by your brother just beats all. Is that a real crab leg? Haha.
I can totally relate to your feelings about January and February. I just get so depressed during the winter months. When Spring first arrives I can’t stop smiling like a goofball. So happy to see grass!
Pizza is one of my favorites too. Except I like just plain cheese either hand tossed or thin crust. I just really dislike deep dish for some reason.
Haha I know! Yep, that’s a real one…geesh. Brothers.
I’m the same way about spring! The green and colors and the robins make me sooo happy.
I’m partial to regular or thin crust, but sometimes a good deep dish does it for me. 🙂
I totally feel ya on the anxiety and phobia bit. Also the cake. Definitely the cake. Mmm.
Twins! 😛
Lol you’re right… That quote is just priceless. And being a January baby, it make me sad how much hate there is towards the first ya of the month, but I can totally understand it… After the excitement and anticipation of Christmas, January is just cold and depressing. But heyyyyy, it’s Friday… Cue happy dance 😀
Awww, I’m sorry. January just got better because it’s your birth month. 😉 I think the fact that there isn’t a big holiday to look forward to definitely has something to do with it. Hooray for Friday!
What a fun survey! And YAY that it’s Friday 🙂 that’s my favorite day, too!
How could you *not* like it?? 😉
Oh that chocolate cupcake!! Mmm I need one of those asap! 😛
My dad would agree with you about the brussels sprouts. He routinely refers to them as poison and pretty much blames them for any and all problems in the world. 😉
And pizza is pretty fantastic. My summer job is at a pizza place, and you’d think I’d be tired of it by now, but nope! Still love it!
Haha that’s hilarious. Some people blame global warming, others blame the government, and your dad blames brussels sprouts. I understand his point!
I always wondered if I would get sick of pizza if I worked in a pizza shop, but I don’t think I would!
I love the picture of that vegetable soup! I would like a chocolate cupcake now too, please.
And sometimes I wish I had an Ella to play with, but we just dog-sat for a friend this week, and her boxer-beagle mix was *very* high energy 🙂
Do you have any techniques for dealing with seasonal affective disorder? Or anxiety? I could give you some book recommendations, if you want.
Thanks! I could always use a chocolate cupcake. 😉
Yes, Ella is *such* high energy that it is exhausting and annoying at times, but worth it. Dog-sitting is a great way to get in a puppy fix for a while, though!
I actually don’t have any techniques for dealing with it. I would LOVE some recommendations, if you have the time! 🙂
Okay, I just saw this. I’m going to email you about SAD & anxiety later when I get home! xoxo
OoOo Little Caesars.. can’t beat their $5.00 pizza deal.. oh & their breadsticks. YUM!
No kidding! Carbs galore. 😉
Such a fun survey! My indulgences are jojos (thick cut fries) and a loaded burrito with meat, whole beans, guacamole, lettuce, salsa and cheese!
Oh wow, those sound so good! I love loaded burritos!
Ella is precious!!! My indulgence is definitely chocolate cake from Portillo’s! If you’re ever near Chicago, it’s a must-try 😀
Thanks! 🙂 I’ll keep that in mind!
Mmm pizza! *I want* Well for me, I’d have to pick January, I am just not a summer person 😦 I love fall and deep winter, wearing scarfs and boots! And favorite food… chocolate 🙂
Ooh, good point. I do love fall clothing – like boots and scarves. They’re my favorite!
I HATE the winter! Snow is pretty for Christmas but then I’m done… I keep saying I’m going to move to one of those magical places that doesn’t get winter…. someday.
Pizza is an amazing food (though after this weekends disaster I think I’m done with it for a bit) and spiders truly are the worst! I’m totally fine if I can see them or we each have our own spaces… but if one pops up all of a sudden or gets into my personal bubble we have issues really fast!!
I think I could almost live off of pizza too. It’s always so damn good.
I still have yet to do this survey, and I’m pretty sure Madison tagged me in it, so I need to get on that. Thanks for the reminder and sharing your answers. It’s always nice to get some of the back story behind the blogger.
