MIMM: Easter Weekend

Marvelous is…

Easter and all that it stands for.

Marvelous is…

The fact that I got to spend all weekend with my family. Recent events have shown me just how lucky I am to have a good relationship with everyone in my family. It’s pretty great.

Marvelous is…

Having the door open on a warm March day. I can’t even tell you how happy I am that spring is nearing. Actually, maybe you all know…you’ve heard me complain about winter for the last five months. πŸ˜‰ I just love being able to hear the birds chirping again and the earth come back to life after a long, cold winter. It really is the little things in life, people.

Playing outside in that beautiful weather. I went for a nice run on Saturday and played ball with Ella a few times this weekend. Perfect.

Marvelous is…

The Disney movie marathon that was on ABC Family this weekend. There is nothing like Disney.

Marvelous is…

Sitting down and playing a few rounds of Lucky 13 with Dan. Even though he beat me the first time and has been winning for months now despite the fact that I taught him the game only two years ago…

Marvelous is…

Having the time to relax, read, and watch movies.

Marvelous is…

The education I’m getting. Even though I have to drive two hours to and from school, I am getting a good education and that fact sure is marvelous.

Ella left a small gift for me on my homework.

Marvelous is…

While the two hour drive isn’t exactly convenient and costs me a lot of money, I love the fact that it gives me alone time to think and listen to good music.

My friend Sarah made this amazing collage for me for Christmas. It is so awesome.

Marvelous is…

The fact that I’m alive and get to experience another Monday. πŸ™‚ I just calculated: I’ve been around to see 1120 Mondays in my life, and that is pretty cool.

  11. Such a great picture of you and your family and I’m happy to hear you got to spend a marvelous Easter weekend together. There’s really nothing like being with the family during the holidays or any time of the year.
Also, I’m with you on enjoying the little day-to-day pleasures life offers. It’s way too easy to overlook them.

    1. You are so right on both accounts! Spending time with family is the best, and the little things in life are way too easy to look past. I always have to remind myself to appreciate them. πŸ™‚
