Lovely London

Hello, London!
September 15, 2011

Another great thing about being an international student at Kingston was that we had the opportunity to get a guided tour of London that ended with a lunch and a drink at a pub! Our guide, who was actually from Cincinnati, Ohio, was very knowledgeable, and really focused on the history of the city, which is one of my favorite aspects.

We began at Westminster Abbey.

It turned out to be a beautiful day. The weather was in the mid-70s (*F) and mostly sunny. Perfect.

These hats always remind me of that FRIENDS episode where they go to London. Joey gets one and is so excited about it.

Buckingham Palace

Trafalgar Square

Our tour ended at this pub.

But after a quick lunch, my dad, my friend Lauren (who was getting her Masters degree at Kingston), and I all decided to head out to do more exploring.

After stopping at a pub for dinner, we went back out and tried to get some good pictures of Parliament at night. Which, by the way, was very difficult to do with my camera!

I think Parliament at night is probably my favorite thing to see in London. That is just one sight you can’t capture through a camera lens.

I hope enjoyed the pictures! Have a great day! đŸ™‚
